Carefully handled and meticulously sorted, reclaimed plastic is reground and blended to produce high-performance plastic seals.
Plastic waste is one of the world’s most prominent global environmental concerns. That makes it one of the business community’s most pressing issues. Recognizing this, organizations and individuals are paying much closer attention to the effective management of their waste throughout their processes and supply chains.
In addition to the moral obligation to reduce, reuse, or divert (waste diversion is the process of diverting waste from landfill for recycling), statutory obligation has begun to intensify as governments at all levels enact stricter recycling laws.
At CSS, we have since inception embraced the importance of operating in an environmentally responsible manner. As a proud past recipient of the Green Council Award in Green Manufacturing from the Rockland Business Association, we have continued to expand our green initiative by producing tamper-evident seals manufactured entirely from recycled plastic.
Each model of our plastic seals manufactured in our state-of-the-art factory in New York is now available as a product produced from recycled plastic. The range of CSS products featuring the recycled plastic option includes adjustable and fixed-length security seals of both high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene constructions.
The recycled plastic construction option is available to customers purchasing CSS’s line of Pull-Tight and One-Piece adjustable seals, as well as the company’s Plastic Truck, Tote, and One-Piece Fixed Length seals. In addition, all these seals are available with the option of CSS’s patent-pending A-MVB™ formula, which specifically targets, repels, and deactivates or eliminates the metabolic and reproductive capacity of virus-hosting bacteria, as well as other microorganisms such as molds, fungi, and algae.
