Inside Sales / Account Executive Responsibilities

  • Manage key steps of the sales process from initial prospecting and identifying opportunities through developing the customer relationship, quoting and closing, and then managing the account.
  • Educate prospects on our company's competitive offering by underlining the wide range of benefits we provide to each specific customer.
  • Effectively communicate our story to ensure an intimate and accurate understanding of who we are, what we represent, and what we can offer.
  • Successfully anticipate, recognize and overcome potential objections.
  • Work with management to develop and account territory plan and execute this plan to achieve annual quota, increase your customer pipeline, and grow market share and your account base.
  • Periodically work with management to prepare and execute lead generation or other marketing campaigns through trade shows, social media, or our email platforms.
  • Maintain regular communications with existing customers within your territory as you seek to grow each account through new quoting opportunities.
  • Manage each day and every prospect and account through our CRM system. Work with management to solicit feedback and to assure timely communication and resolution of opportunities and issues.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of your territory - customers, markets, trends, competitors and competitive issues -from which to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Remain cognizant of industry and market trends and share those insights with the entire sales team to enhance our company's long-term competitive position.
  • Utilize sales analytics to develop targeted opportunities.
  • On occasion, engage with prospects and customers at trade shows, conferences, and industry gathering

Your Qualifications

  • This is an office-based position at our headquarters in Rockland County. You must presently live in or have a reasonable daily commute to the Rockland County area.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
  • Superior customer facing skills, demeanor, and attitude.
  • Aptitude for sales and relationship building with strong closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proper grammar and professional vocabulary is essential, as is an understanding of the rules of professional business correspondence.
  • Possess and demonstrate the combination of aggressiveness, patience, and perseverance that is essential to succeed in this position.
  • Superior questioning and listening skills and the skill to identify customer wants and needs, and the ability to develop solutions to effectively meet those wants and needs.
  • Ability to prepare quotations and supporting documents to complete a sale.
  • Self-directed and disciplined, with a strong sense of personal accountability and performance orientation.
  • Ability to deftly balance prospecting, quoting, and account management workloads and deadlines.
  • Thrive in a friendly but fast-paced culture. Must be able to politely and effectively communicate across departments within our company.
  • Strong computer skills to handle word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, ERP and CRM.
  • Must pass initial and random drug testing.

Your Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling products to the government or via Amazon beneficial.
  • Experience as an in-house outgoing sales specialist beneficial.

The Manufacturing and Production team at CSS handles everything related to the effective and efficient manufacture and packaging of our products. Our production professionals operate and maintain injection molding, assembly, and packaging lines, coordinate production planning and resource allocation, and are committed to continuous improvement of our product, processes, and efficiency.

The CSS Customer Service department is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest level of assistance and professionalism. Each highly trained Customer Service Representative understands the importance of our company's role in our customers' operations, how effective communication is the key to our success, and is committed to the highest levels of professionalism.

The Quality Control department is responsible for ensuring that every product shipped by CSS is in full compliance with our product and packaging specifications and customer requirements. Through a combination of process analysis and rigorous inspection, our Quality Control professionals contribute to the company's efforts to continually improve our products, processes, packaging, service, and overall customer experience.

CSS' Shipping and Warehouse team is responsible for executing and recording a variety of shipping and receiving related tasks and processes, including handling inventory, packing and palletizing, and the loading and unloading of freight vehicles and containers.

CSS' Accounting and Finance Department is responsible for a variety of administrative functions within the organization. These areas include bookkeeping, payroll, collections, payables, credit, internal reporting, and human resources.
