Cambridge Security Seals seeks an entry level Maintenance Technician, Equipment and Facilities with mechanical and electrical skills. The Maintenance Technician works as part of a team ensuring the smooth and consistent operation of fully automated injection molding production and finishing systems and processes. The objectives of this position center around eliminating down time, increasing productivity, and reducing maintenance costs by adhering to a schedule of preventive maintenance. This is an immediate opening at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pomona, NY.
The primary focus and key responsibilities of this position are related to the maintenance of production and ancillary equipment and the building and systems infrastructure that supports the manufacturing environment. This includes basic repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance, documentation, and troubleshooting of complex, high speed assembly equipment utilized in the high-volume production of security seals. The successful candidate will possess a basic knowledge of construction skills (plumbing, carpentry, and electrical), proficiency in the use of basic hand tools, and the desire to work hard, learn, and grow.
